Hooked! was released with a gimmicky controller and a lot of hype. Looking back at the game, I have to admit it was horrible.
If you have a Nintendo Wii, you might as well just save your money. This game made the reallly emo when I found out how unrealistic and easy it was. The controlls are wobbly, and the interface lags. To land the fish, you must keep adjusting your rod with the on screen prompts, but the prompts lag.
For now I'm going to stick to online fishing games. At least they know their place.
If you happen to have Zelda for the Wii, there is a short mini game that involves fishing. It actually happens to be better than Hooked!.
